Secure Company Network System
In "Secure Company Network," we are diligently constructing a robust enterprise network infrastructure designed to seamlessly connect our employees and network resources with colleagues worldwide. Our endeavor entails implementing a comprehensive system that fosters secure communication and collaboration across geographical boundaries. To bolster our network's resilience and fortify its security measures, we have deployed two Cisco ASA firewalls. This redundancy strategy ensures continuous protection against potential threats and enhances the reliability of our network infrastructure.
Secure Campus Area Network System
Here, we are going to learn how to construct a comprehensive enterprise network infrastructure known as the 'Secure Campus Area Network.' This ambitious project entails interconnecting two separate campus branches through the implementation of IPsec VPN technology, facilitated by Cisco ASA firewalls. Through this robust network setup, we aim to establish secure and seamless communication channels between the two branches, ensuring efficient data transmission and safeguarding sensitive information across the network.
Secure Healthcare Network System
Here, we are diligently constructing a robust enterprise network system known as the 'Secure Healthcare Network.' This intricate network infrastructure is designed to facilitate seamless connectivity for a healthcare organization, enabling secure access to cloud resources. To fortify the network's security measures, we are implementing Cisco ASA firewalls, ensuring stringent protection against potential threats and vulnerabilities. Our objective is to establish a resilient and secure network environment that meets the stringent requirements of the healthcare sector while enabling efficient access to cloud-based resources.
Secure Hotel Network System
For a sample case study, the an hospitality industry is intended to implement its network to connect the headquarters and the three branches so that users in these branches can communicate and share network resources and services. This network should be developed with scalability in mind since the company expects to employ more people in future. Therefore, to achieve this future-oriented topology that upholds the information security principle of confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA), the network is required to be of high performance, more redundant to eliminate a single point of failure, and is more secured from attackers or any other factors that may compromise the network system.
Rarieda Constituency Mobile APP
The purpose of this study was to establish how an android based mobile system can be used as a way to provide easy, simple and quick access to constituency services and other activities. An overview of the services that the system would be able offer are like CDF/bursary application, jobs/internship application and raising complaints about an activity in the constituency. I used Java, XML and firebase database.
Cereal Farmers Guide Mobile APP
This project is insight into the development of an android based application that is used to help cereal crop farmers in managing their crops and other activities revolving around cereal crop protection and suitability. The system is an easy to use and very vital for farmers who might not know the type of crop to put in their areas, the disease that might attack the crop, it’s best geographical conditions and many others. I used Java, XML and SQLite database.
Gurutech Solutions Website
Gurutech was founded in 2018 as an idea of three IT students (Benard Otom, Duncan Gwada and Hillary Kima) at Kisii University. The main objective of coming up with the idea was to provide IT services to students around the campus at affordable prices. The services offered at the start were Windows OS installation, all software configs and troubleshooting, Hardware repairs, Password and data recoveries among others. Currently, the idea has been expanded to diverse in providing training services, consultancy, major practical aspects Freelancing, more IT topics and so on, as indicated on the footer under Gurutech Academy.
